Hi there Ramona friends!  I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am about this weekend in Ramona!  Each week as I prepare to write this post and gather all of the weekend happenings I get a little more excited about our small town.  There is always something fun going on and this weekend is no exception.  In fact, there is SO MUCH going on this weekend I think you may have a hard time deciding exactly what to do!  Be sure that you read the entire post so that you don’t miss out on any of the fun things happening in our great town!!

 

As I always say, weekends start on Thursday in Ramona.  Head into town tonight and grab some yummy grub and grab a seat (or bring one) and watch the parade of cars “Cruise” through town!!! Cruise starts at 6:30 and typically runs until about 8pm.  Here is a list of all the great specials going on tonight:

 

Pamo Valley Winery Tasting Room

Stop by the tasting room for some of their famous Sangria.  $5 for a glass tonight!  Then you can grab a plate of street tacos from Pepe’s Produce, plates are $5.  Ladies, you can still get your hands on blingy t’s and tanks.  Stop by tonight and grab a couple to wear on Thursdays!

 

Ramona Mainstage

Ramona Mainstage is serving up $5 beers, hot dogs, and nachos for you tonight.  Stop by and grab a seat out front!

 

The Main Course

Stop by The Main Course tonight for a good meal with a side of classic cars!  The Main Course will be serving some special BBQ for tonight’s cruise.  Why not have a great dinner and sit outside and enjoy the show?!!

 

Ramona Café

Tonight and every Thursday Cruise Night, Ramona Café and Turtle Rock Ridge Winery are pairing up to treat you to something special!  Grab dinner and a glass of Cruise Night Blue Sangria!  You get a refillable glass for $12 and refills for $8.  If you love Turtle Rock Ridge Wine and you love food, then you have hit the winning combo here!

 

Ramona Family Naturals

Tonight Ramona Family Naturals will be serving up some tasty BBQ’d Ribs, served with mashed potatoes and watermelon!!! You have got to try these!! Yummy!  As I’ve heard it said, these babies are finger lickin good!  While you’re there try a frozen banana, holy moly you will feel like you’ve died and gone to heaven!

 

Packards Coffee Shop

 

Paninis are a favorite at Packards so they are serving them up tonight for you!  Reuben, HTC Turkey Lurkey, and Caprese!  All paninis include chips, macaroni salad or potato salad!  Packards never lets you down when it comes to dessert either, tonight is no exception!  Lemon Mousse, or Chocolate Mousse.  Delish!

 

Ramona Skatepark

Stop by and say hi to Tracy from Ramona Skatepark and grab yourself a tasty root beer float.  All proceeds go to building Ramona’s Skatepark.

Ramona Town Radio will be broadcasting LIVE right outside the Chamber of Commerce building.  Have you downloaded their app yet on your phone?  Head to the app store and hit download and take Ramona Town Radio with you wherever you go!

 

Up The Hill Grill

Every Thursday Night you can enjoy Up the Hill Grills yummy Cruise Night Special, Kielbasa Sandwich with grilled mushrooms, and cheese on a roll with fries.  Plus, who wouldn’t want to watch the cars go by from their patio!  Lots of other great and tasty things on the menu as well!

San Diego Sunshine is open late tonight until 9pm.  Stop by their tasting room located at 432 Maple Street Ste. 6 after you’ve watched the cruise and stuffed yourself with amazing food and try one of their local specialty drinks.  You won’t know that you LOVE it until you try it!

Call in your order to Pizza Hut tonight and get a large 1 topping pizza for $7.99 from 5-9pm.  Go pick it up and grab your seats on the street and watch the cars go by while enjoying your pie!  Easy peasy!

This Sunday Schwaesdall Winery is excited to host  the 3 piece rock band TrainWrek.  The band will perform from 1pm to 4pm, playing original rock songs.  Bring a chair and enjoy a glass of wine and the great sounds of rock and roll!  If you are hungry grab some pizza that will be for sale as well!

3 Places to Try This Weekend!!!

 

Marinade on Main

We absolutely LOVE Marinade on Main!  This fresh new restaurant here in town is a great place to try this weekend if you haven’t already.  With farm to table amazingness you will fall in love with their menu, the flavors, and the atmosphere.  Marinade on Main is located at 865 Main St.  Call ahead seating is encouraged 760-440-3717.  My advice, try the Pulled Pork Mac ‘n Cheese and the Habanero Marmalade Wings!  So amazing!!

 

Turtle Rock Ridge Vineyard Winery

Turtle Rock is a favorite of ours!  You simply cannot beat the atmosphere or the wine at the beautiful winery.  We come to Turtle Rock often  and can tell you that it is one of the prettiest places in Ramona.  Why not stop by and enjoy a glass of Sangria, relax and take in the beauty of Turtle Rock Ridge.  They are located at 18351 Woods Hill Lane.  Stop by Saturday and say “Hi” to Barb for us!

Connelly Gardens

Connelly Gardens opens its doors for the season this Saturday.  They will be stocked to the hilt with fresh grown produce. This is a must stop this weekend!  Stop by the farm stand at 252 Steffy Road Saturday or Sunday from 9am to 4pm!
