There is always something happening here in Ramona. This weekend is no different; there are a lot of fun things happening around town.
Ramona Junior Fair starts this weekend! This is basically a week-long event that starts this Saturday July 24, 2015 and goes through next Sunday. Tomorrow’s main event is the Dog Show starting at 8:30 am. If you are a dog lover you might want to check this out. Sunday’s events are the Goat Show, and the Llama and Alpaca Show. To find the entire schedule of events please see the schedule below
Do you have an over abundant garden? You can bring your home grown goodies to the Garden Swap put on by Ramona Family Naturals Market. This is really a cool and unique event where you can bring the fruits or veggies that you have grown in your garden and trade other “farmers” for their surplus home grown veggies. Something that makes this garden swap even more awesome is that it is not just limited to fruits and veggies! You can bring homemade crafts, eggs, milk from cows or goats that you own, homemade canned fruits and veggies, or flowers. Really you could bring almost anything home grown or homemade! The event is free and runs from 9:00 am to 10:00 am and will be held at Ramona Family Naturals 642 Main Street, Ramona!
Another fun thing happening this Saturday is the National Day of the American Cowboy going on at Mountain Valley Ranch. This is a great event! There are lots of cowboys, good food, and prizes. This is a fun event for the whole family! The kids will love the cowboy re-enactments from the Whole in The Wall Gang, and there will also be live music. I highly suggest putting on your cowboy duds and heading down to Mountain Valley Ranch to celebrate National Day of the American Cowboy with your family and friends! It is sure to be a rootin tootin good time!
Take some time this weekend to enjoy the good weather and our small town!
